COVID deaths and patient numbers are continuing to fall at Rotherham Hospital, with cases dropping across the borough, too.
Five more people have died at the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 and, as of this morning (Wednesday), 23 inpatients were being treated with the virus, with one in critical care.

Hide AdAccording to latest figures, the number of people testing positive in the borough in the last seven days has dropped more than 20 per cent to 736 cases, compared to last week’s 949.
The total number of inpatients who have tested positive since Covid-19 began is now 4,164.
Nearly 86 per cent of the population in Rotherham aged over 12 have had their first dose of the vaccine, 81.2 per cent have had their second and 63.7 per cent have received a booster jab.
