Court date for Rotherham man after school burglary

A MAN has been charged with burgling a Rotherham special school.

Wayne White (47), of Upper Clara Street, Kimberworth, is accused of breaking into Kelford School earlier this month and stealing laptops and other electronic equipment.

White was arrested on November 9 - the day after the alleged break-in - and charged the following day.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on December 9.

White is also charged in connection with a burglary at a car garage on Wortley Road on November 9, during which £2,500 worth of laptops and radios are believed to have been taken, as well as being charged with theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of handling stolen goods.
