Cooker causes fire at Waverley
THREE fire crews were called out to a cooker fire at Waverley last night.
Firefighters from Parkway, Birley Moor and Aston Park stations attended Maple Court at 8.45pm.
A spokesperson said: “The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 9.35pm.”
There were deliberate fires involving rubbish at Green Arbour Road in Thurcroft at 9.30pm yesterday and a wheelie bin at Park Road in Mexborough at 4.25am today.
