The school is to set up a memorial fund for each of the teenagers with the victims’ families deciding how the money raised is spent.

Insp Pete Serhatlic, of South Yorkshire Police, who is leading the crash inquiry, said investigators want to hear from anyone in the area between the McDonalds restaurant and the Crookhill Road junction that evening.

He said he would like to hear from residents or businesses who have CCTV as footage could help the investigation.

Mr Serhatlic said that people can contact the police on 101 quoting incident 1123 of November 15 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
