Concerns grow for welfare of pensioner reported missing from Aston home
Barry Jones

OFFICERS are growing extremely concerned for the welfare of a pensioner who has been missing from his home since yesterday.

Barry Jones (77) was last seen near his home in Aston at around 10.20am on Tuesday.

Mr Jones is described as white, around 5ft 8in, with a slim build.

He has a shaven head and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a thermal vest and a green coat with leather collar.

Police made door-to-door enquiries on The Chase estate in Aston yesterday and a heavy police presence remained throughout the evening.

Anyone with any information or who thinks they may have seen Barry should call police on 101, quoting incident number 628 of February 28.
