Captain and cente-half Richard Wood felt ill after yesterday's 1-0 home loss to Charlton Athletic while midfielder Ben Wiles suffered a bang to his leg.

"Woody's not feeling great," said manager Paul Warne. "He's not injured, he feels sick.

"Wilesy has got a dead leg. Dead legs can hang around but Wilesy is a pretty good recoverer, a good athlete."

The Millers are optimistic that the duo will be available for selection.

Third-placed Rotherham missed out on the chance to return to the automatic-promotion slots against the Addicks as a win would have seen them leapfrog MK Dons and climb back into the top two

"The dressing room is hugely disappointed," Warne said. "The lads know what an opportunity they had to go back into second place."

Meanwhile, the boss has expressed his support for the person who was stretchered away after a medical emergency that delayed the kick-off by a few minutes at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

"I believe the young lady had a fit, not a heart attack," he said. "I presume she's okay because when they took her away everything was stabilised. I send her my best wishes."
