A WOMEN-only comedy night has proved so popular several more dates have been confirmed.

The night of laughter was launched by women’s charity Rotherham Rise last month as part of a week of activities to mark National Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.

The second comedy night will be held at the charity’s women’s centre in Main Street tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 7.30pm and dates have been revealed for future events.

Comedienne Jan Flamank (pictured) will perform her one woman show tomorrow, with proceeds from the £4 entry fee going to Rotherham Rise.

April 6, May 11, June 15 , July 13, September 14 and October 12 are the other dates to put in your diary.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and the entertainment ends at 10pm. There will be a bar available.
