Collection makes Christmas more beautiful for children
By Michael Upton | 19/12/2017
A COLLECTION by a beauty salon has helped a charity make Christmas a bit more special for children in troubled families.
Staff at Rebecca Stephens Hair & Beauty in Bramley collected £604.69 in just three weeks from customers, relatives and suppliers.
The cash was used to buy dozens of gifts for children helped by the supported accommodation and outreach service run by domestic abuse charity Rotherham Rise.
Rebecca Williams from Rise said: “We believe that this donation highlights the kind and charitable nature of our community.”
