A FITNESS instructor is out to get a town dancing in memory of murder victim Leonne Weeks.
Jules Donaghy will hold an hour-long “clubercise” session at the teenager’s old school, Dinnington High School, on Saturday.
The experienced zumba and dance instructor said all proceeds from the event would go to Leonne’s family.
The event will include nightclub-style effects and reusable glowsticks provided for everyone taking part,.
Two weeks ago, more than 400 people attended the funeral at St Leonard’s Church for the 16-year-old, who was found stabbed on a pathway of Lorden’s Hill on January 16.
Jules, who lives in Dinnington, said: “Leonne’s death was a massive shock for everybody.
“It feels palpable in the town that something awful has happened.
“I wanted to do something to help and support the family in a positive way.”
Admission to Saturday’s session is £10 and the event is recommended for over-14s.
The doors open at 10.30am and the dancing starts at 11am.
