Cigarette causes Clifton fire
A DISCARDED cigarette set rubbish alight in Clifton yesterday (Thursday).
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Sherwood Crescent at 9.05pm to tackle the incident, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
The crew put out the fire after 40 minutes.
