Christmas kids boost from nursing home
A NURSING home in Rotherham collected a huge haul of toys for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.
Staff at Moorgate Lodge asked residents’ friends and family to donate new toys for children who may not receive gifts this year.
Lisa Goodall, home manager, said: "I'm incredibly proud of the generous spirit of the staff and visitors at Moorgate Lodge. We collected lots of toys for local children to help them have a merry Christmas.
“Community is so important all year round, put particularly during the festive period. We’re glad to be able to help others when we can.”
