Chip pan fire in Brampton Bierlow was accidental

FIRE crews attended the scene of a chip pan on fire in Brampton Bierlow last night (Sunday). 

The incident happened in Harley Road at 10.50pm. 

"Crews from Barnsley, Dearne and Rotherham attended and came away at 12.20am," said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.

"The cause of the fire was accidental."
