Child sex suspect's new charges

A CHILD sexual exploitation suspect facing 46 allegations has been charged with two further offences.

Arshid Hussain (40) appeared at Sheffield Crown Court last week over crimes including assault, rape, conspiracy to commit rape and unlawful imprisonment.

He was charged with two further counts of indecent assault on Friday as part of Operation Clover, South Yorkshire Police said.

These offences are alleged to have happened between 1998 and 2000.

Hussain, of East Cowick in Goole, has been bailed to attend the crown court in September alongside six other defendants.

Operation Clover is a joint investigation with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Crown Prosecution Service into non-recent CSE in Rotherham.
