Child sex abuse suspects bailed

FIVE MEN arrested on suspicion of child sex abuse offences have been bailed.

National Crime Agency officers arrested the men at different addresses in Rotherham of conspiracy to rape on Wednesday.

They were questioned and released on bail until April.

They were arrested in connection with Operation Stovewood, an independent investigation into non-familial child sexual exploitation and abuse in the town between 1997 and 2013.

Nine people previously arrested by Operation Stovewood remain on bail pending further investigation.
