Child rapist jailed for 14 years for "catalogue of abuse"
A CHILD rapist who subjected a schoolgirl to a “catalogue of abuse” has been jailed for 14 years.
Kenneth Plant (59), of High Greave Place, East Herringthorpe, has been on trial at Sheffield Crown Court charged with six offences against a girl aged between 12 and 14 between 2014 and 2016.
A jury convicted Plant today of two charges of assault by penetration, two rapes, attempted rape and sexual assault against the same girl.
Jurors returned unanimous verdicts on all six counts following ten hours and 35 minutes of deliberation.
