These calls make up 6.5 per cent of the 491 calls received from adults concerned about their online behaviour from across the UK over the same period.

A further 14 adults living in Yorkshire rang to express their concerns about the online behaviour of another adult.

The charity has launched a series of films online to Stop it Now! to deter potential offenders by pointing out that there are no grey areas — viewing or sharing a sexual image of someone under 18 is illegal — that child porn is not a victimless crime, and that help is available.
