Charity’s shops to reopen

BLUEBELL Wood’s charity shops will begin a phased opening next week.

The store on Wellgate will trade from Monday (24), followed by the Hellaby furniture outlet on Friday.

Lastly, the Dinnington shop will reopen on September 5.

Head of retail Terri Hanson said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be reopening our shops across Rotherham and we’re busy making sure our customers will feel as safe as possible when they visit.”

The charity said it had received more than 1,000 bags of donated items since lockdown conditions began to ease.

Donations will not be accepted at the shops initially — only via collection or at the hospice in North Anston.
