Charity box stolen and damaged caused to pub in Harley after burglary

DAMAGE was caused to a pub in Harley during a break-in where a charity box was stolen.

Police were called to the Horse Shoe Inn on Harley Road at 6.05am on Sunday morning.

It is understood thieves broke into the pub, causing damage. 

"A number of items including a charity box are believed to have been taken and enquiries are ongoing" a police spokeswoman said.
