Chance to raise concerns with police

POLICE have launched fortnightly drop-in sessions in Mexborough so residents can raise concerns with them in person.

Members of Doncaster West Neighbourhood Team will be holding two-hour sessions twice a month at Mexborough Police Station.

A spokesperson said: “PCs and PCSOs will be available to speak and this is an opportunity for members of the community to 'drop-in' and chat to us about any issues they may be experiencing in the Mexborough area.

“Weather permitting, we aim to hold these outside the front entrance where social distancing guidelines can be observed.

“Alternatively, these can be held in the front reception area with Covid-19 regulations being adhered to.”

The next session is from 6pm to 8pm on June 21, with further drop-ins planned for July 6, July 22 and August 4.
