Chance to quiz police commissioner Alan Billings at Swinton meeting

RESIDENTS have the chance to learn about policing priorities for Swinton and Kilnhurst at a meeting tomorrow night (Wednesday).

It takes place at St Margaret’s Church from 6pm and the guest speaker will be Dr Alan Billings, the region’s police commissioner.

The meeting was organised by RMBC ward members. Cllr Ken Wyatt said: “We know crime concerns are one of the highest priorities for residents.

“We organised a local policing meeting in April which was very well attended. We aim to hold these around every three months with a relevant guest speaker.”
