CCTV released in Wath armed robbery investigation

TWO masked men — one armed with a knife — burst into a petrol station and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The incident happened on Thursday, August 17, at the Jet Garage on Barnsley Road, Wath, and left staff members shaken.

The two men, who both had their faces covered, went into the garage at around 11.45pm and demanded cash and cigarettes.

They then left in a silver/grey Ford KA, registration DU04 KZB, with cash and tobacco, heading towards Wath. 

Detectives have now released CCTV footage of men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Two men arrested in connection with the incident, aged 42 and 36, have since been released from the investigation.
