CCTV released after burglars steal sat nav and booze

A CCTV image has been released of a man (pictured) police would like to speak to after burglars stole a sat nav and alcohol from a garage in Whiston.

A burglar dislodged CCTV cameras at a property in Whiston Grange at around 9.30am on October 7 before forcing entry to the garage, a police spokeswoman said.

They broke into a car and took a factory-fitted Mercedes sat nav and some alcohol, she added.

A shed outside the property was also broken into.

Officers believe there may have been three offenders and are continuing their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image, or has information about the burglary, should contact 101 quoting crime reference number 14/152078/19.
