CCTV pictures released after pensioner’s handbag stolen

COPS have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to after an elderly woman had her handbag stolen in Masbrough.

The 75-year-old woman was shopping in Aldi on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 17, when she noticed her handbag was missing from her shopping trolley, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

The bag contained cash, keys and a phone.

Officers have identified two women who might have information about the incident.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the women or may have witnessed the theft.
