CCTV images released after racially-aggravated assault in McDonald's

POLICE are hunting for the man in this photo in connection with a racially aggravated assault late at night in a branch of McDonald's in Rotherham.

Officers want to speak to him following an incident in McDonald's in Aldwarke Lane, Dalton, on Saturday, October 9, where a man was racially abused.

"There was a disturbance in the restaurant and a man was the victim of racist remarks," said the spokesperson.

"The man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as white, aged in his late 30s, being 5ft 9ins tall and with short black hair.

"He had tattoos on his arms."

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place at 1.33am, or recognises the man pictured is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 72 of October 9.
