Cause of huge Dalton blaze "unknown"
FIRE investigators were unable to determine the cause of a blaze which lit up the night sky across Dalton.
Five fire crews were called to the huge blaze at former Millside Centre, on Doncaster Road in Dalton at around 7pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the blaze had been logged as “unknown” as investigators were unable to determine if it was started deliberately.
