Cars torched in Wombwell and Thrybergh

ARSONISTS set fire to cars in Wombwell and Thrybergh last night. 

Firefighters from Central station were called to Windmill Road, Wombwell to a car a blaze at 9.05pm and left after twenty five minutes.

The second fire happened on Thrybergh Lane, Thrybergh at 1.10am. A crew from Rotherham station was called and came away at 1.30am.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of both fires were deliberate.
