Cars burnt out in South Anston and Wombwell

FIREFIGHTERS put out two car fires on Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

One crew from Aston fire station attended Mill Lane, South Anston at around 9.15pm on Tuesday.

They used hose reels to put out a burning Morris Minor, which is thought to have been deliberately set alight.

Another crew from Dearne station attended Kings Road in Wombwell at around 4.15am on Wednesday.

There they put out a burning Peugeot 206, which is also thought to have been deliberately torched.
