PEOPLE with an interest in social care are invited to attend the Rotherham Health Network's up and coming AGM.

The network helps to pass information between health care services and the community, as well as helping groups share information about health matters.

It also provides a forum for individuals and groups to discuss and challenge local and national plans for health services.

Bill Hurley, from the network, said: "We aim to speak with one clear voice on behalf of the community and voluntary health sector, ensuring that information is accessible to everyone, that there is equal access to all Health and Social Care Services and that people have a say on health service plans.

"The AGM is a time for us to reflect on the past year and look forward to our future plans so we would invite anyone with an interest in health and social care issues to come along to the meeting."

The meeting will take place at 10am on November 19 at The Rain Building on Eastwood Lane, Rotherham. The Mayor and Mayoress of Rotherham, Cllr Shaukat Ali and Miss Wajida Naseem will open the event.
