Car torched in Swallownest arson attack

A RANGE Rover was set alight in an arson attack in Swallownest.

Firefighters from Aston station were called to the deliberate fire on Old Colliery Way at 11.35pm on Friday, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The crew came away at 12.20am.

A vehicle was deliberately set alight on Beaconsfield Street, Mexborough, at 11.55pm  on Friday, the spokesperson added.

Firefighters from Dearne station spent 50 minutes tackling the fire.

A crew from Aston station was called to an arson attack on a motorbike on Coalpit Lane, Wales, at 3.25pm yesterday (Sunday), the spokesperson added.

Firefighters left the scene at 4pm.
