Car torched in Masbrough
AN abandoned car was set alight in Masbrough over the weekend.
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to New Wortley Road at 9.07pm on Saturday night.
Upon arrival, they found an abandoned Vauxhall Vectra well alight, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"This was dealt with by 9.38pm and is thought to have been started deliberately," she added.
