Car torched in Goldthorpe

ARSONISTS set a car on fire in the early hours of Saturday morning in Goldthorpe.

A crew from Dearne station was called to Frederick Street at 4am to find the Vaxuhall Astra fire already out, said a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman.

"The cause of the fire was deliberate and the crew left the scene after 15 minutes," she added.
