Car torched by arsonists

A CAR was deliberately set on fire on a South Anston street in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

A fire crew was called at 3am to tackle the burning vehicle, believed to be a Volkswagen Golf.

The fire on Hawthorne Avenue was started deliberately and firefighters spent half-an-hour at the scene.
