Car crash victim named
A 22-year-old man who died after a car hit a lamppost and a tree in Mexborough has been named as Jonathan Barratt.
Mr Barratt, of Swale Close, Bolton-on-Dearne, sustained fatal injuries after losing control of a Ford Mondeo on Mexborough Road, Bolton, near Hound Hill Lane at 12.40pm last Friday afternoon.

Hide AdTwo other passengers were injured after the car crossed the carriageway and went into a ditch after hitting a lamppost and a tree.
An 18-year-old front seat passenger from Bolton-on-Dearne and 19-year-old back seat passenger, from Thurnscoe, suffered slight injuries and were taken to Rotherham General Hospital but later discharged.
