Car collides with tree in Manvers

EMERGENCY services were called to help two people in a car which collided with a tree after leaving the road in Manvers.

An orange Vauxhall Mokka left the carriageway on Manvers Way today (July 20) at about 12.20pm.

Police, ambulances and a fire engine were called to the scene.

A man and woman were inside the vehicle when the collision occurred.

A police spokeswoman said it was understood that the two people were not seriously injured but were taken at hospital for a check-up.
