Car and rubbish set alight in Maltby and Rawmarsh
ARSONISTS torched rubbish and a car in two separate incidents in Maltby and Rawmarsh overnight.
Maltby firefighters were called to the rubbish fire on Mortimer Road, Maltby, at 7.20pm and were at the scene for 20 minutes.
At 3.10am, two crews from Rotherham and Dearne stations attended a deliberate car fire on Monkwood Road, Rawmarsh. They left the area just after 4am.
Both fires were deliberate, said a fire service spokesperson.
