Cannabis seized in raid on Mexborough High Street

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the force received a report just before 8pm on Friday about the property being used for drugs.

She added: “It was reported there were around 150 cannabis plants across four rooms.

“The plants were seized and the property made safe. A 36-year-old man was arrested from the property on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.”

Police are continuing enquiries and anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 1003 of May 20.
