Cannabis farm found in former Rotherham gym

Officers attended Bridgegate shortly after 10am today (Thursday).

They entered the former Revolution gym premises above the Rhinos pub, where they found a large cannabis set-up.

A staff member from a nearby business said officers had called into shops on the street in recent days.

She said officers had been asking if workers on Bridgegate had smelled cannabis, as if they were narrowing down their search for drugs.

South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further details.
