Cancer patient’s charity run helps raise £10,000

BRAVE cancer patient Emily Lunn was doubly delighted after she was applauded over the line as she completed a 10km run and her chosen charity received a £10,000 boost.

Emily Lunn, who has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer, completed the Brinsworth 10k on Sunday.

Event organiser Mark Robinson said: “The team at Brinkworth 10K are delighted to announce they have raised £2,000.

“This year, we have been supporting Emily Lunn with her battle with breast Cancer, so all the money will be given to Emily for here charity Weston Park Cancer Charity.

“Completing the Brinsworth 10k such an amazing acheivement after all Emily has been through.”
