Can you help this survey of summer birds?

BIRDWATCHERS are being urged to take part in a survey of some well-known summer visitors.

The British Trust for Ornithology wants participants for its House Martin Nest Study 2017.

Observers need to be able to observe a nest, or a group of nests, from ground level for ten to 15 minutes approximately once a week, throughout the breeding season.

The data will provide valuable scientific information and help researchers identify why the species is in decline.
