Busy weekend of arson attacks for firefighters

FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a number of arson attacks over the weekend.

Arsonists torched a sofa on Priory Walk, Greasbrough, at around 11.30pm on Friday.

Crews from Rotherham and Dearne attended the incident.

There was also a grass fire on Dickens Road, Rawmarsh, on Friday at around 9.50pm and one on Little Common Lane, Kimberworth, at around 7.10pm on Sunday.

A grass fire on Woodhouse Green, Thurcroft, at around 5.50pm on Saturday, was also started deliberately.
