Business hailed for "floor"-some donation to RSPCA animal centre
The Doncaster and Rotherham branch of the RSPCA recently paid £500 to buy vinyl flooring from UK retailer Flooring Superstore.
But when the company learned of the purchase, it contacted the branch and reimbursed the £500 as a gesture of support for the charity, which has a centre in Bawtry.

“We wanted vinyl flooring because this is easier to clean and maintain, so we looked on the internet and ordered some from the Flooring Superstore.
“As an entirely self-funding branch of the RSPCA, every single penny we spend is important, especially as it costs £1,500 a day to maintain the services we provide to animals in our care
“So it was amazing when Flooring Superstore contacted us and said they would reimburse the £500.

Flooring Superstore has also provided discounted flooring for the RSPCA’s charity shop in Queen Mary's Road, Rossington.
Dan Foskett, managing director of Flooring Superstore, said: “We were delighted to have been able to help the Doncaster and Rotherham branch and are pleased they have been able to put the money they would have spent on the flooring towards helping animals in need.
“As a business we are very much aware of our corporate social responsibility, and strive to support as many charities as we can.”
