Bushes and conifer tree ablaze in the Dearne Valley
BUSHES and a conifer tree were set on fire in the Dearne Valley overnight.
Firefighters from Dearne station attended a fire involving bushes at 9.20pm on Lawrence Drive, Swinton, and left the area after 15 minutes.
Then at 1am, a crew from Edlington were called out a conifer tree on fire on Woodfield Road, Balby.
The cause of both fires was believed to be deliberate, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
