Bus services diverted in Canklow due to 'serious incident'

BUS services were diverted this morning (Thursday) following a “serious incident” at Canklow Roundabout.

First South Yorkshire said services 73/74 were unable to use Centenary Way heading into Rotherham.

Services were diverted via Bawtry Road, Woorygoose Roundabout and Broom Lane.

But a spokesman said services had returned to their normal route at around 9.50am.

South Yorkshire Police said services were diverted following an accident involving a lorry and a car at around 7am.

A spokesman said no-one was injured in the incident.
