Burglary suspects arrested at scene of Rotherham supermarket raid

Officers called to a reported burglary at Food Plus in All Saints’ Square at 11.30pm arrested two people.

The suspects remained in custody today, said a police spokeswoman.

Earlier this morning, the window of the Polish supermarket was boarded up and crime scene investigators were at the scene.

The supermarket is open as normal and a forensic expert was seen inside the store photographing discarded beer cans that were strewn over the till.
