Burglar in court over Rotherham Civic tools theft

A BURGLAR who has admitted breaking into a theatre and stealing items worth hundreds of pounds is due at court this week.

Michael Lisowski (47), of Potterdyke Avenue, of Rawmarsh, broke into Rotherham Civic Theatre on the morning of August 1.

He stole a drill, two socket wrenches, two cameras, a USB headset, electrical equipment and a jar of coffee worth £405.

Lisowski admitted burglary at a hearing of Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on September 29.

He was released on unconditional bail so a pre-sentence report could be prepared and is due to appear at court on Thursday.
