Bungling Edlington burglary suspect hands himself into police
A BURGLARY suspect who reportedly sent pictures of himself by mistake to his victim's mobile phone has handed himself into police — just hours after an appeal was circulated online.
Officers investigating the burglary in Edlington last Wednesday (3) wanted to speak to the man after stolen internal CCTV cameras sent an image of him to the victim's phone after they had been stolen.
This morning, police appealed for helping tracing the man and reported this afternoon that he had attended a police station and was "assisting with their enquiries".
