Brinsworth man pleads not guilty to child rape
A BRINSWORTH man accused of raping a child 16 years ago will stand trial next year.
Ricky Hutton (32), of Pike Road, Brinsworth, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court today and pleaded not guilty to committing eight child sex offences against a boy in 2005.
He denied four counts of rape of a child under 13, two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 and two counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between May 24, 2005 and December 21, 2005, against the same boy.
Hutton was released on bail and is due to stand trial on April 27.
