Kevin (pictured), who performed the role at Brinsworth Social Club for 28 years, died on January 7 after collapsing at home.

And his funeral at Rotherham Crematorium tomorrow will feature music by his favourite artists.

Kevin’s partner Cath Smith, of Godric Drive, Brinsworth, said the service would begin with Uprising by Muse, the rock band the couple had enjoyed seeing in concert at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.

It will also include One Day by Elbow and close with The Whole of the Moon by The Waterboys.

“Kevin enjoyed all kinds of music,” said Cath.

There is no special dress code for tomorrow’s service, which will start at 4.15pm and follow the cortege driving past the social club so members can say their final goodbyes.

A wake will be held afterwards at the Brinsworth club and a donations in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
