Bring Your Dog to Work Day: send us your pawsome pictures

MEET our new roving reporters who have some real bite — Effel and Hershel — who are at ‘Tiser Towers for Bring Your Dog to Work Day.

The annual event is in its sixth year and pawsome pals up and down the country are making today a dogtastic day in the office.

The fun event is an 'op-paw-tunity' for companies to fetch in some money for charities dedicated to making a difference to the welfare of dogs.

Rotherham Advertiser newspaper planner and dog lover Claire Sherratt was joined at her desk by her shar-pei Effel (9) and Bedlington terrier Hershel (5) seen above posing for our 'pup-arazzi'.

The pair showed great 'in-scent-tive' — handling some 'woof' deadlines and refused to just roll over. We're 'mutts' about them.

You can send pictures of your four-legged friends at work to [email protected] – just let us know your full name, your dog’s name and where you work and we’ll share our favourites.

Jo Amit, from Bring Your Dog To Work Day, said: “As a nation of dog lovers, it’s so exciting to see how the event has captured the imagination of dog owners and organisations and is growing dramatically every year.

“It is well known that having a dog at work has important mental health benefits and an increasing number of companies are becoming dog-friendly.

"Each year more businesses sign up to sponsor and we’re proud to have created something that is doing good and also bringing a lot of joy to the workplace.”
