And there are few bigger or more usual ways to arrive than in a 2.5-tonne lorry cab.

Sarah drafted in Denaby-based hauliers JP Walton and Son to provide distinctive rides for her and her bridesmaids en route to her marriage to Alex Foster Smith on Saturday.

Business owner Jim Walton said: “Sarah and her fabulous bridesmaids wanted to arrive at the ceremony in a fleet of unusual vehicles and we were only too pleased to help.

“Despite the torrential rain, everything went smoothly and the bride and bridesmaids looked spectacular.

“Thank you to our fab chauffeurs, who drove the bridal party to the ceremony at Loversall Farm, near Doncaster.”
